NEW YORK, N.Y. – The Jewish Community Relations Council of New York (JCRC-NY) announced that the Virtual Celebrate Israel Parade will premiere online on Sunday, June 21, 2020, at 1 p.m., as people from across New York City and around the world tune in for the largest public event celebrating Israel.
This year marks the 56th anniversary of the Parade that celebrates Israel’s rich heritage, vibrant culture, and the positive impact the Jewish and democratic state of Israel has on the lives of people around the world. The presence of the Celebrate Israel Parade in New York City has grown exponentially each year in both attendance and excitement since its founding in 1965, and has moved online this year as New Yorkers stay home to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.
